February 2009 NLRB Activity Report (Election Results)

April 13th, 2009 Posted in NLRB Election Results

Interesting that the union elections held in February are up from January. But it’s apparent that organized labor is still sitting back on their haunches waiting on the government to “give” them members, or maybe it’s “bail them out” like it’s trying to do for everyone else.  Although there were over 100 elections held during February 2009, most were very small employers (bargaining units less than 100).  There were only a couple with more than 200 in the bargaining unit. The scary thing is that they (labor) continue to win elections, almost 67% in February!  It seems that the now famous Employee Free Choice Act is dying on the side of the road, but some form of “compromise” is in the works. Labor spent too much money electing this government to lose this chance. So stay on your toes.  In the meantime, Click Here to view the February NLRB results.
